Day wise Itinerary

  • Day 1 : Delhi - Chandigarh.

    Pick from Delhi Railway station/Airport. After meet & greet services proceed to Chandigarh. Chandigarh is 260 approx kms from Delhi and about a 5-6 hours drive. Reach Chandigarh in the afternoon. After Lunch see Rock Garden, Sukhna Lake, Rose Garden, Mansa Devi Temple. Overnight stay at chandigarh Hotel.

  • Day 2 : Chandigarh - Amritsar.

    After Breakfast at hotel, Morning drive to Amritsar which is around 250 kms - a drive of about 4-5 hours passing through green fields of Punjab. Reach Amritsar in the afternoon. Afternoon visit to Wagah Border - to see Indo-Pak Border closing ceremony and Amritsar city. Overnight stay at amritsar hotel.

  • Day 3 : Amritsar - Delhi.

    After breakfast at hotel, Early morning visit to Golden Temple - the famous Sikh Gurudwara, Jallianwala Bagh, colour Bazar of Amritsar for some shopping. Afternoon by 2 pm drive back to Delhi approx 8 hours.Reach Delhi by late evening. uppon arrive in delhi transfer to rly station / airport.

DAY 01: Amritsar

Arrive Amritsar Railway Station. On arrival reception at Railway Station and transfer to the hotel.

Evening visit India-Pakistan Attari Border to watch Flag Retreat Ceremony- AttariWagah, an army Joint Check Post on India-Pakistan border 30 Kms from Amritsar where the daily highlight is the evening "Beating the Retreat" ceremony. Soldiers from both countries march in perfect drill, going through the steps of bringing down their respective national flags. Return to hotel. Overnight stay.

DAY 02: Amritsar

After Breakfast , Start your city tour with the blessings of Golden Temple-the most important sikh shrine also known as Harmandir Sahib and Darbar Sahib. Then visit JallianwalaBagh- the place that reminds every Indian of the brutal and hearless massacre by british general Dyer.

Visit DurgianaTemple :- The temple The complex houses Shree Laxmi Narayan Mandir with a huge pond on its periphery Mata LalJi Devi Temple : The replica Temple of Mata Vaishno Devi Temple in Katra , Jammu and Kashmir.

Maharaja Ranjit Singh Museum and Panorama in Ram Bagh The landscaped garden with Summer palace of Maharaja Ranjit Singh in the center. The Maharaja later named it Ram Bagh. It has a museum with relics of Mughal era and hand drawn sketches and portraits of the ruling Sikhs. Overnight at Amritsar Hotel.

DAY 03: Amritsar

After breakfast, Visit Amritsar's Local Village near Farmer's Villa and Interact with Village People, Take a ride of Tractor across streams, Take a walking tour of the Vegetable farm, Stroll among Onion, Potato, Carrot, Radish, Green Peas, Cauliflower, Cucumber, Brinjal, Capsicum or Other Seasonal Vegetables, Take a trip to a dairy farm and Milking cows & buffaloes, Back to Amritsar in the afternoon, you can enjoy the shopping at local Market. Evening back to Hotel, Overnight stay.

DAY 04: Amritsar - Anandpur Sahib - Chandigarh

After breakfast, drive to Anandpur Sahib . It is one of the most important sacred places of the Sikhs and is closely linked with their religious tradition and history. It was founded in the year 1664 by ninthguru, Sri Guru TegBahadurji. The Guru purchased this site from the ruler of Bilaspur. After that visit Sri Kesgarh Sahib, it is located in the centre of Anandpur Sahib. It is also known as Takht Sri Kesgarh Sahib. It was the place where Khalsa was born. Than proceeding to BhakraNangal Dam. It is the world's second highest straight gravity dam built across the River Satluj. Dam derives its name from a village called Bhakra, now it is submerged in Gobindsagar reservoir. Drive further to Chandigarh, Check in and Overnight Stay at Chandigarh

DAY 05: Chandigarh

After breakfast, Start your city tour with Rock Garden which is made of industrial and urban waste. Then visit Sukhna Lake that lies in the foothills of shivalik range. People visit here for picnic and for the water activities., visit Rose Garden which is Asia's largest garden. It contains more than 17000 species of plants and over 16000 varities of roses. Rose Garden also hosts annual rose festival or festival of garden in the month of February or March. After that visit Museum and art gallery, a place that houses magnificent Gandhara period stone sculptures, Hindu sculpture, Miniature Paintings, Decorative arts and coins. The credit for the wonderful designing of this museum goes to Le Corbusier. evening transfer to Railway station/Airport for your onward Journey.
