Important Points of School Exchange with Christone Holidays
☑️ Please start to find a host school for school exchange as soon as possible.
Although the matching process depends on the availability of schools and their locations, it generally takes about one to two months. Christone Holidays will stop accepting applications two months before the scheduled school exchange. Please ensure you begin the process of finding a host school( Christone Holidays will do that) at least three months prior to your visit. Additionally, confirmed reservations for flights and accommodation are required when applying for a school exchange. Since schools in Japan typically arrange their schedules for the following school year between December and March, we recommend you plan your trip during this period and start your preparations as early as possible with Christone Holidays.
☑️ The difficulty of matching with a host school varies depending on the period.
Matching success depends on the school’s availability and location. Generally, October and November are the easiest months to secure school exchanges. It may take more time to arrange exchanges during busy periods such as the turn of the academic year (March – April), summer vacation (July – August), and the New Year holidays (late December – early January). Christone Holidays will assist you in navigating these timelines for the best possible experience.
☑️ Please refrain from cancelling once the host school has been confirmed.
To maintain a respectful and smooth partnership with host schools, please avoid cancellations without a valid reason once a school match has been confirmed. For the same reason, Christone Holidays does not permit multiple applications to different host schools at the same time.
Transformative moments, lasting friendships, and unforgettable cultural experiences—educational travel and school exchanges in Japan with Christone Holidays create stories that inspire, impressions that last a lifetime, and connections that cross borders.
